Mom Hilariously Tracks Down Daughter on ROBLOX to Tell Her to Take Lasagna Out of Freezer

When it comes to getting in touch with your kids, sometimes you have to get creative. Just ask Chicago mother Chacha Watson, who found a unique way to contact her 11-year-old daughter Miracle when she wasn't answering her phone.

Unable to get a hold of her daughter, Watson knew just what to do. According to Today.com, she logged onto the gaming platform Roblox, a place where Miracle spends much of her time. Watson saw that her daughter was playing a game called Berry Avenue and decided to join in on the fun.

Once inside the game, Watson was able to message Miracle's character directly and ask her to take dinner, a lasagna, out of the freezer before she got home. The conversation was so humorous that Watson decided to share it on Facebook, which quickly went viral.

As it turns out, Watson and Miracle have discovered a new way to bond, and the mother is a massive fan of the platform.

"Being a single parent, you just want to make sure that you're spending time with your kids," Watson explained. "That's really important to me—to make sure I'm spending quality time with her. So I downloaded Roblox, and that was just one of the best things ever."

Watson advises other parents to try out their kids' hobbies and games in order to learn more about them and create a better connection. However, she jokingly recommended, "don't just download it to tell your kids to do things."

"Try actually going and playing with them, it's actually really fun and my daughter, she really loves it," she said.

Watson's story reminds us that our parenting landscape is ever-changing, especially with the rise in technology and social media. Staying connected with our children is of the utmost importance, and Watson shows us that we can make adaptations to our everyday routines and mechanisms.

So next time your kids ignore your calls, don't be afraid to think outside the box and track them down in the virtual world. You may be surprised at how much fun and helpful it can be.
