Texas Mom Claims 'Hocus Pocus 2' can "Unleash Hell on Your Kids and In Your Home"
Texas mom goes viral after claiming Disney remake can let spirits into home
A Texas mother has gone viral this week following the premiere of Hocus Pocus 2 on Disney+. Jamie Gooch, a mother of three from Troy, Texas, refuses to let her children see the film as it can “unleash hell on your kids and in your home."
She warns parents, “Do not watch this film. Everybody thinks it’s fake and innocent, but they could be casting any type of spell that they want to, anything could be coming through that TV screen into your home."
Yes, that is indeed a real quote.
Gooch is a firm believer in keeping everything “safe” within her home, while also stating her belief that there’s a spiritual war being waged against households across the country.
She even went on record and claimed that they haven’t celebrated Halloween “in about 4 or 5 years."
“It grieves me, the thought of exposing our kids to darkness."
Despite a load of negative backlash, Gooch stays firm in her statements, hoping that her message opens the eyes of others across the country.
“Just start thinking, start thinking for yourself and even overthink, and consider all the options of what you’re partaking in."
Of all takes we’ve seen this week on Hocus Pocus 2, this is by far the most outlandish. Who knew a remake of a 1993 low-budget Disney film would trigger this much discourse? Whatever the case is, we’re here to read ALL the comments.
