This Mom Rents a Hotel Room to Wrap Her Christmas Presents in Peace

One mom is being hailed as a genius on TikTok after posting about her SECOND time renting a hotel to do her Christmas gift wrapping.

That's right, user McKelliganL is going viral in the mommy-tok world after her hilarious and undeniably relatable video.

"Second annual wrapping weekend! Booked a hotel for two nights, wrapped all the gifts, order taekout, watch tons of tv, and no one asked me for anything", she says in the description.

She can also be seen grinning ear-to-ear with a Starbucks in hand, taking this mommy self-care adventure to its maximum level.

But in addition to all these superlatives, she did indeed wrap, and she wrapped A LOT. Tons of gifts can be seen scattered across her hotel room, ready to be given away on Christmas morning.

But what did others think? With over 2.6 million views and over 230k likes, plenty of moms chimed in with their thoughts.

"This is the greatest thing I've ever seen!! You're a genius", one mom writes.

Another agrees and points out, "You also get a little break before Christmas plus get stuff done in peace."

However, some did feel a tad differently.

"Oh... we're in a different tax bracket", chimes in one user.

"Naw... I'd go back home and find 17 more presents that I hid around the house and stress out again", another commenter hilariously writes.

Ultimately, one mom commenter seems to have the ACTUAL genius plan: "Okay but hear me out an air bnb so all the moms can wrap and sip together."

Wherever you fall, we can't fault this mom for trying her best to escape the chaos at home. Wrapping gifts during the holiday season tests our patience with everyone else far more than any other part of the year.

Would you do the same? Or is getting a hotel a bit too much to help you avoid all that household chaos?
